Ingredients

Coriander, Chilli, Gram Dal, Salt (8%), rice, Cumin, Methi Seeds,Turmeric, Curry Leaves, Chakala, Mustard, Chilli Extract, Black Pepper, Asafoetida. Minimum Spice Content – 70%

Recipe

  • Boil 1 cup of toor dal (or moong dal) until soft.

  • In a pan, sauté mustard seeds, curry leaves, onions, and vegetables of your choice.

  • Add the cooked dal, 1.5 to 2 tablespoons of Kwality Sambar Powder, salt, and tamarind water to taste.

  • Let it simmer for 10–15 minutes until flavors blend well.

  • Serve hot with idli, dosa, or vada.
